Cooking Instructions
Preparation
Remove the desired number of kebabs from the packaging and reseal the remaining kebabs securely.
For best results, thaw the kebabs in the refrigerator overnight. Keeping them chilled rather than completely frozen will generally give better results when frying or grilling.
If cooking directly from frozen, increase the cooking time accordingly.
Deep Frying
Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy bottomed pan to 175°C.
Carefully place the kebabs into the hot oil, taking care not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook thawed kebabs for approximately 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked thoroughly.
When cooking from frozen, allow approximately 5 to 6 minutes, depending on size and your appliance.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper before serving.
Pan Frying
Preheat a non stick frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
Place the thawed kebabs in the pan without overcrowding.
Cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked.
If cooking from frozen, allow approximately 6 to 7 minutes on each side, adjusting as required.
Oven Baking
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Place the kebabs on a lined baking tray.
Bake thawed kebabs for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
From frozen, allow approximately 25 to 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
Grilling
Preheat the grill to medium heat.
Place the kebabs under the grill and cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes on each side when thawed.
If cooking from frozen, allow approximately 6 to 7 minutes on each side, adjusting according to your appliance.
Cooking times can vary depending on the size of the kebabs and the appliance used. Always ensure the kebabs are thoroughly cooked before serving.
